Digital health for ventilation therapy

Remote monitoring for ventilated patients can allow you to prioritise your time and provide enhanced care to more patients.

Ventilator-dependent patients must be continuously monitored by qualified personnel or adequately trained carers.

Remote monitoring:
Improve the way you manage your patients

With AirView and ResMed connected ventilation solutions, you can access detailed patient monitoring data, identify problems and intervene quickly and proactively if the patient experiences challenges. With remote access to therapy and device data, you can reduce unnecessary phone calls and follow-up visits. You have more time to allocate to the patients who need extra help, and more capacity to assess new patients.

Remote monitoring

What difference does it make?

Provide enhanced care

Unless it’s medically necessary, patients don’t have to travel to health facilities and hospitals to have their issues resolved.

The patient’s healthcare team can access the same data at the same time and easily intervene to adjust the parameters or schedule an appointment if there is a change in a patient’s condition.

Remote monitoring for respiratory care

Deliver ventilated solutions

ResMed’s connected ventilation solutions combine effective, user-friendly devices and patient management systems. Together, they are designed to make it easy for you to manage and monitor home-based non-dependent patients with respiratory diseases such as COPD.

ResMed invasive and non-invasive ventilation products

ResMed offers a range of products for use in the hospital or the home.

Lumis provides personalised home non-invasive ventilation for non-dependent patients and features built-in wireless connectivity to AirView.

Stellar is an invasive and non-invasive ventilator for non-dependent patients with changing ventilatory needs and progressive respiratory conditions. Wireless connectivity to AirView is available for Stellar through the ResMed Connectivity Module.

Astral is a versatile invasive and non-invasive ventilation for less dependent to fully dependent patients in need for acute and/or long-term care. Wireless connectivity to AirView is available for Astral through the ResMed Connectivity Module (RCM).*

AirView allows you to see patients’ device and therapy statistics at a glance**. You can monitor their device settings remotely (unintentional leaks, respiratory rate, spontaneous trigger, minute ventilation, etc).

ResScan patient data management software provides clinicians with an easy way to record summary and high resolution data. This breath-by-breath data stream provides valuable insight into the COPD patient’s treatment.

Connected health for sleep apnoea

AirView can also be used to monitor and manage your patients with sleep apnoea. Streamline your workflows and promote efficiency by making full use of AirView’s capabilities.

* The continuous monitoring of ventilator-dependent patients must be independent of AirView, as AirView is intended to be used only for follow-up care.

** With Stellar and Astral, therapy data is updated once a day. With Lumis, data is available one hour after the end of each therapy session.
