Information on Air11 device updates | ResMed

Air11 device updates

Your ResMed AirSense™ 11 or AirCurve™ 11 device is equipped with the ability to receive software updates remotely using OTA (Over-the-Air) updates.

These updates help ensure that your device is using the latest ResMed PAP technology and software.

The OTA updates are not necessarily pushed to all devices at the same time, and it could take some time from the release date to update all of them.

Device update 3

Released June, 2024

SW04600.11.8.0.0

What’s new?

AcousticSignal

ResMed Air11™ now supports an optional toggle, AcousticSignal, which uses the acoustic sensor on the device to capture ‘soundbites’ from the mask. The device then processes these soundbites into a series of numbers that are sent to the cloud. No sound or speech is transmitted by the device.

We understand that resolving mask issues can be complex and time-consuming, potentially affecting your daily routines. That’s why we’re dedicated to enhancing software solutions to empower patients. By collecting and analysing data, we aim to create innovative technologies that will support both PAP users and healthcare professionals in the future

If you would like to opt-out of this feature, you can do so at any time by navigating to the ‘More’ menu from your device Home Screen and setting the AcousticSignal toggle to off.

Humidifier Firmware Update

Provides software improvements intended to help reduce the occurrence of humidification error messages.
